FUNCTIONING PSYCHOLOGY

I’m Francesca Eleuteri, a multilingual (Italian, English & Dutch) Health Psychologist practicing in the Netherlands and a dedicated researcher in clinical neuropsychology. I am a registered GZ-Psycholoog, Psycholoog NIP® and SKJ Master-psycholoog, with my practice operating within the Basis Generalistische GGZ and actively working within the Youthcare (Jeugdwet), along with several contracts with municipalities. I hold a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology and Promotion of Well-being from Lumsa University in Rome, and I studied Clinical Neuropsychology at VU University Amsterdam. Additionally, I have a background in Fine Arts, which enriches my holistic approach to therapy and research. I previously studied for a PhD in Cognitive and Clinical Neuropsychology at the Donders Institute for Brain, Cognition and Behaviour at Radboud University in Nijmegen (the Netherlands). My research explored the visuoperceptive syndrome known as hemineglect and its connection with executive functions in individuals with brain injuries. My research was conducted in collaboration with Prof. Lisa Arduino from Lumsa University and Dr. Ashok Jansari from Goldsmiths University London. Current projects include exploring ADHD and dyslexia in multilingual populations, sex differences in tobacco withdrawal and executive functioning, neuronal correlates of executive functions in young adults, the role of executive functions in exploratory guidance, and the effects of current and future relevance on perceptual selection. My approach is personalized and grounded in the latest research in clinical psychology and neuropsychology. I offer Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Family System Trauma, EMDR, COGMED training and Cognitive Enhancement Therapy among others tailored to each individual’s needs. I also provide international medico-legal evaluations, including Fit to Work assessments for organizations such as OPCW and ICC in The Hague.
